Since 1999 in the world of document and content management.

1999

THE BEGINNINGS

adapting was born in 1999 as a spin-off from a Spanish technology centre where one of our founding partners worked as a Ph.D. researcher. He focuses on the design and development of intranets and extranets in web technology for collaboration between employees.

2008

INVESTMENT

In 2008 adapting incorporated the private investor Pandora Lys to its share capital to make the leap to the international market. Its star product abox was oriented from that moment to the segment of professional document management and a complete re-engineering of the software was carried out to adapt it to the .NET platform and to the international normative fulfillment in the matter of archivistics and document management.

2009

R + D

In 2009 adapting leads an R&D project within the framework of the Iberoeka Programme called “Iberodoc: La Oficina Cero Papel” in which several companies and universities from Spain and Colombia participate. Thanks to this project, abox adapts to the requirements of the Archives Law of Colombia, one of the pioneering and most demanding archiving laws in Latin America.

In the year 2010, adapting presents abox in the main European fairs of the CeBIT sector (Hannover, Germany) and SIMO Network (Madrid, Spain).

2011

International Expansion

In the year 2011 adapting created a headquarters in Barranquilla (Colombia) responsible for distribution and customer service in Latin America, called adapting America. In 2012 adapting america takes over the laboratory adapting-lab thanks to its results.

2013

Consolidation

Since 2013, the group has focused its efforts on specialising and improving the product to meet the needs of document management professionals in Spain and Latin America.
