It imposes a series of requirements on the digitization process:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"ul1\">\n<li class=\"li2\">Format and quality of the image;<\/li>\n<li class=\"li2\">Quality assurance of the entire scanning process;<\/li>\n<li class=\"li2\">The security of the process, making it impossible to manipulate the digitized image;<\/li>\n<li class=\"li2\">The inclusion of a digital signature with chronological stamp ensuring the validity of the scan.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"p1\">The importance of certified digitization is its legal consequence, which translates into two significant benefits for any public or private entity:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"ul1\">\n<li class=\"li2\">The possibility of returning the originals to the sender.<\/li>\n<li class=\"li2\">The possibility of destroying physical specimens.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"p1\">The legal field of certified digitization is still in the development phase in the different countries of the Latin American environment. The software must provide secure mechanisms for the closure and preservation as evidence of the digitized documents.<\/span><\/p>\n[\/vc_message][vc_message message_box_color=&#8221;white&#8221; icon_fontawesome=&#8221;fa fa-random&#8221; css_animation=&#8221;fadeInUp&#8221;]\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Finally, <strong>certified digitization has little to do with the process of digital signature of electronic documents<\/strong>\u00a0(<a href=\"https:\/\/www.adapting.com\/seguridad\/\"><span class=\"s2\">see Security section<\/span><\/a>), since in the first case the scanned documents are signed, with the ultimate purpose of replacing the paper originals, and in the second case the original electronic documents are signed, with the purpose of ensuring their authenticity and non-repudiation by the parties involved.<\/span><\/p>\n[\/vc_message][vc_message message_box_color=&#8221;white&#8221;
